Nyong’o mourns Anglican cleric who died in Homabay road accident

Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o joins millions of believers in mourning Rev Malachi Obadha.

Rev. Obadha was a retired cleric of the Anglican Church.

The deceased was among the ten passengers who died on Monday evening following a road accident that occurred along Homa Bay-Kendu road.

The accident involved a Nissan vehicle ferrying passengers to Kisumu and afuel tanker.

Eight people died on the spot.

He piously served the lord and will be remembered for his humility, philosophical and educative sermon

Amiable man of God

Nyong’o eulogized Rev. Obadha as a long time friend who was diligent in his work as part of the clergy.

Through a condolence statement on social media, he described him as an amiable man of God who used the pulpit to win many souls.

“He piously served the lord and will be remembered for his humility, philosophical and educative sermon,” he added.

Rev Obadha will be remembered as an influential and powerful man on matters of faith.

Nyong’o also urged motorists to be watchful while using the roads to reduce such accidents.
