Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has arrived at the 2022 presidential debate.

Wajackoyah had earlier confirmed that he will not attend the presidential debate slated for July 26, 2022 at the Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA).

The aspirant has however said that he will not proceed to debate unless all the four aspirants are present in the debate.

They never responded to my letter and if the media wants to corrupt the intelligence of this country to hell with them

“I am not attending un less we are four,” said Wajackoyah as he made his way into the venue.

Wajackoyah has since shifted the blame to the media saying that they did not meet his demands before the debate.

“They never responded to my letter and if the media wants to corrupt the intelligence of this country to hell with them,” he said.

Wajackoya had earlier said he will only attend the debate if organizers allow him to debate with Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate and Kenya Kwanza’s William Ruto.

We would like to notify you that our candidate Prof Wajackoyah will only attend the debate if he will be dating with the Azimio and Kenya Kwanza presidential candidates

According to Roots Party, the polls used to pair the presidential candidates were not factual.

Raila’s Withdrawal

On Sunday, July 24 Raila Odinga Presidential Campaign Secetariat Prof. Makau Mutua said that Azimio flag bearer Raila Odinga will not attend the Presidential Debate.

Makau noted that it would be meaningless for Odinga to take part in the debate if key issues of national concern are to be left out as per the request of Kenya Kwanza’s William Ruto.

All eyes are now set to how the debate will go.
