Simple Boy’s ‘Freshi Barida’ takes internet by storm

Kibera based rapper Stephen Otieno Adera popularly known as Stevo Simple Boy is flying high.

With his new single ‘Freshi Barida’, Simple Boy has kept his fans and foe in the internet, with each interpreting the phrase their own way.

Freshi Barida is a word that the musician came up with meaning someone is cool and fine.

He released the music video three days ago on YouTube having a hundred and fifty thousand views so far.

The Mihadarati hit maker in his lyrics urges people not to drink and drive he also discourages domestic violence at homes.

“Stevo nawaambia don’t drink and drive, kwa nyumba don’t beat usichape chape wife,” goes a line in the song.

The popular phrase will now replace his other famous phrases such as ‘Au sio’ and ‘Ndio manake’.

His popular phrase has helped him out to come up with a brand merchandise of Freshi Barida.
