Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced a 30 day period for verification of registration details.
Registered voters now have from 4th May to 2nd June 2022, to verify their details in their registration centres or IEBC offices in their constituencies.
The announcement made through IEBC’s official Twitter handle comes just four months to general elections.
Original ID or valid Passport as used during registration, will be used during this exercise.
The exercise will be commence on Wednesday next week across all registration centers and IEBC offices.
Those who will have not registered by close of the window will not be able to participate in the upcoming elections.
Voters are therefore encouraged to use the time given and verify their details.
IEBC had earlier called upon all registered political parties to ensure implementation of the two thirds gender rule principle.
