All set for UDA Party Primaries in Nandi

The United Democratic Alliance party (UDA) is expected to hold its primaries across the country on Thursday 14th ahead of the August polls.

According to Nandi County UDA returning officer Veronicah Chebet all the materials are set for the process.

She further noted that they are ready to conduct a free, fair and credible election across the 650 polling stations in the county.

“We have witnessed the opening of the truck that contains the documents for the election exercise,we have taken the pictures of the seals which are intact and we are ready to conduct a free, fair and a credible nominations without favouritism,” she said.

She also noted that the various security measures have been put in place to ensure that there are no election misconducts.

The materials were dispatched to the polling stations by 4pm on Wednesday.

Veronicah however dismissed allegations that government vehicles are being used by some agents to transport the materials to polling stations, claiming that action will be taken against those who will indulge in doing the same.

She cited that the nominations will be conducted with crediblity and there will be no foul play.

UDA will be holding the party nominations in 36 counties across the country .
