Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has launched a scathing attack on his deputy Adelina Mwau over her dalliance with Deputy President William Ruto led United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

Kivutha took to his social media handles to castigate his principal assistant for the last nine years for what he termed clandestine dealings with the UDA.

He said Mwau had even pledged to take with her a huge delegation from Makueni to William Ruto, but the group declined.

“I wish to categorically make it clear that Makueni people have expressed their intention to support the Azimio la Umoja movement and would not be hoodwinked by people seeking self aggrandizement,” he said in part of the statement.

He noted that while he had a lot of respect for her for the nine years they have worked together, her latest political move put her on the edge.

He pledged not to abandon the voice of the people of Makueni that has always guided his decisions as Governor for political expediency.
